Types of Resources

BcResources, though primarily arranged by disciplines, have also been categorized by their document and media types. Select a type below to view the resources using this category. Some resources will be categorized by more than one type.

12 Articles

Text articles ranging in length from single to multiple pages; often incorporating other embedded resource types. Ordered by last date added or updated.
9 Audio

All audio files, listed according to their date of delivery, with the most recent first. Audio files according to their placement in the Curriculum / Disciplines are listed in the separate menu or on a single page.
7 Bible Books

Lead or introductory pages for individual books of the Bible, with the most recently posted or revised listed first. Books may also be viewed in chronological order using either the menu view or full-page view of "Bible Books by Historical Setting."
10 Bible Text

Resources consisting entirely or in part of biblical text; includes interlinears. English text is generally NASB95; Greek text is generally UBS4.
1 Calendar

Calendar (most likely, a recurring ncBc calendar of events)
51 Charts

Resources that highlight the relationships between data or concepts in textual, tabular, or graphical form. This general category often incorporates other resource types.
1 Commentaries

Interpretations and close readings of biblical or other texts.
8 Flowcharts

Charts that emphasize the process or flow of concepts, historical events, etc.
6 Forms

Charts or studies that provide room for user input. Some of our forms are fillable PDFs, allowing users to open them and type in the space provided.
7 Genealogies

Resources tracing or highlighting the lineages of biblical and other figures. The data may be presented using hierarchical trees, graphical representations, or tabular lists.
15 Illustrations

Resources that incorporate illustrations, plan views, images, etc. — often as support for another resource type.
25 Maps

Maps, with the most recent revisions listed first. As the maps are almost always larger in file size than other PDFs, expect longer download times.
20 Outlines

Outlines of various types, textual and graphical, simple or supplements with annotation or related passages. Unless pinned to show first (e.g., "ncBc Curriculum"), are listed in the order they were last added or updated.
1 Pietist Readings

Pietist readings of biblical books, in outline form.
87 Sections

Introductory or table of contents pages — the starting points for accessing sub-groups of resources — ordered by latest revision first. Alternatively, view "Discipline Sections" in the separate menu on this page or "Discipline Sections and Resources" in a full-page, tabular view.

Guided studies of biblical passages and topics
