The audio is an excerpt from his sermon, entitled 'Lord of the Church,' covering Colossians 1.17-18a. In this excerpt, Mike explains how 'our church life is a more fundamental reality, a more foundational reality, than our life in culture.'1
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
